CPI and the Colorado Department of Public Safety recently implemented a new Web-Service Interface to the Colorado Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) from the OpenFox® Message Switch.
For this project, CPI created a new synchronous web service client interface using SOAP protocol. Configured a new station and implement associated message handling. Revised the existing Vehicle Registration Query message key (RQ) configuration to route to the new web service. Created new presentation stylesheets for the vehicle registration response. The security method used was a standard Transport Layer Security (TLSv1.2+) implementation.
The interface allowed for the timely passing of information for the following transactions:
MKE | Description |
RQ | Vehicle Registration Query |
RR | Vehicle Registration Response |
QDA | Query Partial Name |
QDAR | Partial Name Response |
