New Missing Persons Clearinghouse Solution Implemented for the Idaho State Police

CPI has deployed a new Missing Persons Clearinghouse solution for the Idaho State Police. The OpenFox® Missing Persons Clearinghouse System manages records of missing and unidentified persons. This solution allows authorized users to edit fields, generate reports, and view statistics related to Clearinghouse records.

Below is an outline of the implementation process for new security roles, database creation, website development, and report generation for the OpenFox solution:

1. A new security role has been added, accessible through Configurator for solution access.

2. A database was created on customer-provided machines to store solution data.

3. CPI developed processing for NCIC transactions and record storage within the solution.

4. Existing Clearinghouse records have been integrated into the system.

5. Internal and external websites were created to view and maintain Clearinghouse records, including images and hotfiles.

6. Public-facing data will be available on the external website.

7. Seven pre-formatted standard reports are now accessible, including

  • Active Missing Persons by Name
  • Active Missing Persons by County
  • Vital Statistics Cleared
  • Vital Statistics New Entries
  • Request for Photo by ORI
  • Request for Additional Information (Maiden Name and County of Birth)
  • Missing Persons Case Report

8. Training and testing resources will also be provided.
