Recently CPI and the Virginia State Police implemented as password reset portal for Messenger users across Virginia. Previously, Messenger users had to contact the VSP help desk for assistance in resetting passwords. The Portal, designed by CPI, allows users to reset their password, change their password or request a temporary password. The OpenFox System enforces all CJIS Security Policy rules regarding user passwords, thus alleviating VSP personnel from the task of password management.
