Computerized Criminal History

The CPI OpenFox® NextGen Computerized Criminal History (CCH) Application is an easy-to-use tool that provides complete integration with other records for full-cycle tracking and reporting of criminal history. It allows information sharing with external systems such as MBIS, Administrative Offices of the Courts, States Attorneys, and Departments of Corrections. This application also allows states to support national data formats such as the National Crime Information Center’s (NCIC) Interstate Identification Index.

Features Overview

The OpenFox CCH is organized around a central repository that manages all the personal and identification data as well as the creation, maintenance and dissemination of criminal history information. This information includes arrest events, prosecutor data, dispositions and custody data, among others.

The design easily supports the integration of other types of applications frequently associated with criminal history applications, such as:

  • Firearm permits
  • Protection order processing
  • Sex offender registry data
  • And many others
